We offer interesting and challenging tasks, a positive working environment in international teams and opportunities for personal development and growth in a global company.Responsibilities / Tasks<div><ul><li>Ensure all import documentation is accurate and complete.</li><li>Work with customs agents, warehouse staff, shipping companies, and clients.</li><li>Adhere to all relevant local, national, and international rules and regulations.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all import laws, regulations, and procedures.</li><li>Review and process import transactions and documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with various departments and individuals such as suppliers, shippers, and customs agents for smooth import procedures.</li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documents related to import activities.</li><li>Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and shipping.</li><li>Recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures.</li><li>Manage the customs declaration process and ensure proper tariff classification.</li><li>Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure prompt and safe delivery of goods.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of import policies and procedures</li></ul></div>Your Profile / QualificationsUniversity, bachelor’s in International Trade, customs brokers license or 5 plus years trade compliance<ul><li><h3>Experience with international trade regulations.</h3></li><li>Certification in import/export compliance</li><li>Knowledge of Incoterms, HTS codes, and tariffs</li><li>English (fluent)</li><li>Ability to network and build relationships  </li><li>Deep understanding of business on a broad international footprint    </li><li>Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically       </li><li>Takes ownership of the work, successes, and mistakes    </li></ul>GEA is an equal opportunity employer.
