Proposal Specialist

AECOM is searching experienced and ambitious Proposal professional to join AECOM’s Federal Marketing team.  Our clients include both Federal Defense and Civilian agencies, and you will have the opportunity to work with highly specialized teams across all Architecture, Engineering, and Environment sectors, primarily in Canada but also internationally.

This is a temporary  full -time contract position that is expected to last one year.

As a successful Proposal Specialist, you have a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, excellent communication (both oral and written) skills and problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills. You are a strategic thinker and push for continuous improvement. You can work effectively and efficiently in changing environments with multiple deadlines. 

Job Summary

• Lead development and process for Requests for Information, Requests for Qualifications, and other proposals (across regions and business lines) for Federal clients, supporting from capture through to interview stage, as required.
• Participate in go/no-go assessments, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal.
• Participate in pre-RFP capture/proposal planning, supporting the development of key messages and discriminators in deliverables.
• Serve as lead writer/editor for, at least, cover letters, resumes and past performance sections for proposals
