ABOUT THE TEAM
The Finance Team, based in Vienna, plays a crucial role in supporting the financial health and strategic direction of the company across multiple locations and time zones. This dedicated team is responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Beyond the numbers, the Finance Team collaborates closely with other departments to provide insights that drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth. With precision, integrity, and a forward-thinking mindset, our team helps create a stable foundation for innovation and long-term success across the company. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Financial Controller (m/f/d) to join our Finance team, ideally based in the office in Vienna. Additional possibility is in Bratislava, Slovakia or in Zagreb, Croatia. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, budgets, and forecasts while collaborating closely with departmental leaders. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and has experience bridging the gap between corporate frameworks and startup agility.

THE CHALLENGE
  • Lead and manage budget and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyze, challenge, and optimize financial data.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Create and maintain advanced Excel-based financial models and reports.
  • Develop investor-grade reporting, including materials for funding rounds and due diligence data rooms.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
  • Drive process improvements and implement tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
YOUR PROFILE
Required:
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel, including advanced modelling and data analysis.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment, preferably in a startup setting.
  • Background in corporate finance, providing exposure to robust processes and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with funding rounds, due diligence, and reporting to investors or venture capitalists is highly desirable.
Preferred:
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for driving financial excellence.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic outlook on financial planning.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is starting at € 4,200 gross, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.  OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS
