About the Job

We are looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) with strong written and oral communication skills and a problem-solving mindset to structure and monitor the smooth running of our HTS projects: the design and construction of machines (physical and chemical deposition, etc.), a test bench and demonstrators with superconducting magnets.


Responsibilities

  • Structure the various projects with the technical project leader: Product/Work Breakdown Structure (PBS, WBS)
  • Update the project schedule with the technical leaders, the supply chain engineer & the buyer, report progress and alert on the various hard points (delay, choice, load, etc.)
  • Update the project expenditure monitoring and planning file, report the situation and alert on potential delays or exceedance of allocated budgets
  • Create & maintain project risk analysis. Monitor the implementation of mitigation actions
  • Participate in various reviews (technical, progress, milestone). Write the reports. Feed and monitor the action base
  • Create and update the projects dashboard
  • Participate in the planning reviews with suppliers and partners (if needed)

Education and professional experience

  • Master’s degree in project management or industrial engineering
  • Knowledge of a project management software (Microsoft project or other)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to adapt to different interlocutors, engineers and physicists, suppliers and partners
  • Ability to motivate teams towards a planning objective

Languages

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)
  • French B1 or better is a plus

Bonus points

  • Experience in dealing with subcontractors
  • Research project experience (low TRL)
  • Hardware project experience (machines, equipment, installations)
