Machine Installation Technician

TOMRA North America, a top International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company is looking for a Installation Technician in our Central NY region.

Job Type: Full-time

• Pay: $21.00 per hour

This position will need to travel extensively throughout Central New York to area grocery stores, liquors stores, and retail stores to install or remove our reverse vending machines (RVM) as well as install and maintain data communication equipment. Must have strong customer service skills and be able to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-installation site surveys at customer locations and create related documents for management review
• Install, calibrate and test reverse vending machines
• Trouble shoot, diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Train customers on the operation and maintenance of RVM's
• Conduct quality inspections on already installed equipment

· Compile reports based on work order specifications and company procedures
