We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent – want to join the ride? We are now looking for a  Electrical Technical Designer (m/f/d) to join our team working for a better future.  The preferred location for the position is in Hamburg, Germany. What you will be doing  As Electrical Technical Designer your work will focus on these responsibilities: <ul><li>Creation of detailed engineering documents for purchasing, production, test field and customer (interconnection plans / circuit diagram / parts lists / materials / material data)</li><li>Selecting or defining suitable materials</li><li>Maintain material master data within our ERP-Tool</li><li>Conducting non-conformity procedures within our ERP-Tool</li><li>Verification and documentation of changes by following procedures within our ERP-Tool such as creating detailed change logs</li><li>Supporting new designs by communicating and sketching ideas</li><li>Supporting sales by creating technical drawing</li><li>Ensure compliance with the technical specifications</li><li>Ensure adherence to timelines and hour demands</li><li>Ensure archive of technical drawings and software packages</li><li>Direct communication with Product- and Project-Management</li><li>Contribution to internal reporting</li></ul>  To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: <ul><li>Completed training as a state-certified electrical engineering technician or certified Bachelor electrical or equivalent.</li><li>Knowledge in the design and construction of electrical cabinets</li><li>Professional experience with common design tools, e.g. with electrical background with the E-Plan, SAP, N-Files, Solidworks or equivalent</li><li>Personal initiative as well as independent and team-oriented working methods</li><li>Positive communication behaviour</li><li>Good technical knowledge in the application of classification requirements and industrial standards are needed</li><li>MS office skills are required.</li><li>For communication and documentation purposes, German and English technical language experience in speaking and writing is essential required.</li><li>Experience in electrical design for military use or equivalent</li></ul> Why you and us?  We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
