Position Specific Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Sourcing & Procurement Functional Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Sourcing & Procurement modules to meet our organization's needs. The role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional design documents.
  • Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support system integration testing (SIT).
  • Provide expertise in SAP procurement processes including procurement of services, materials management, supplier relationship management, and sourcing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and process improvements.
  • Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for end-users.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and functional specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and provide ongoing functional support.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on Sourcing & Procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM and SRM. Understanding of GEP Smart.
  • Experienced in data extraction, data modeling, data cleaning, and data transformation
  • Hands-on experience with SAP implementation, configuration, and customization.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • SAP certification in Sourcing & Procurement modules is a plus.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GEP Smart, GEP Quantum sourcing & procurement suite
  • Experience working with external tax engines such as Vertex and Sabrix (OITD)
  • Experience with executing and tracking Qmetry Test cases.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules such as SAP SD, SAP FI/CO.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience using tools like JIRA and Confluence for tracking, reporting and documentation of work
