The opportunity
As a member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the HUB CapEx and Digitalization & Automation team.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing major CapEx proposals and ensuring that CapEx is spent on schedule and within budget, and supporting the implementation of smart factory initiatives, optimizing production processes through automation and ensuring seamless connectivity of digital systems.
You will support and coordinate CapEx investments / digital and automation projects in line with the HUB Europe strategy.
Role: Investment and Digital Transformation Specialist
Location: Łódź (hybrid)
How you’ll make an impact
- CapEx Process Management: Support CapEx activities across the HUB, review and approve investment proposals, and ensure alignment with strategic plans and budgets
- Investment Approval: Lead the approval process for standard and large investments. Assist factories in preparing and submitting compelling business cases.
- Equipment Supplier Selection: Supporting factories and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, GPG, and HSE teams to identify and select the best equipment suppliers.
- Digitalization & Automation: Work closely with the HUB D&A Lead to integrate digital and automated technologies into production processes.
- Industry 4.0 Integration: Overseeing the deployment and integration of Industry 4.0 technologies within the factories.
- Workflow Optimization: Analyze current production workflows, identify automation opportunities, and support initiatives that boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Product Quality Assurance: Ensure digital and automation solutions support or enhance product quality and manufacturing standards.
Your background
- Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, industrial automation, manufacturing, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Digital Technologies: Automation systems and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Experience: More than 2 years as a CapEx or D&A specialist in the manufacturing area, familiar with operational processes.
- Project Management Skills: Planning, execution, and implementation of initiatives.
- Communication: Conveying complex technological concepts to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical teams and management.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying challenges in manufacturing processes and developing innovative solutions.
- Languages: English (proficiency in spoken and written) and Polish (preferred).
