Fall 2025 Legal Externships at Earthjustice 

Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit environmental law organization. We take on the biggest, most precedent-setting cases across the country. The following teams are accepting applications from law students for part- and full-time fall 2025 legal externships. These roles typically start in August and are completed by mid-November. We are seeking externs who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment, and who can receive academic credit from their law schools or fulfill a graduation requirement for their work with Earthjustice.

Be sure to read through the job descriptions carefully as instructions and qualifications differ. Students are welcome to apply to as many externships as they’d like.  

The deadline to apply for all fall 2025 legal externships is 5:00pm PT on Friday, May 9, 2025 via Jobvite. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications will be reviewed beginning May 12 with offers extended no later than June 27.
