Program Manager – Economics of Climate and Green Growth

About the Job
- Solve Complex Problems: Develop new approaches and deploy economic methods to inform policies for low-carbon development pathways at national or subnational levels. Lead economic and policy analysis, and develop sectoral roadmaps and strategies.
- Lead High-Impact Research: Drive data-driven insights based on rigorous research that can inform policies, business strategies, and interventions. Lead scenario development, sensitivity analysis, and economic assessments of low-carbon pathways. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data collection, model calibration, and policy impact assessments.
- Mentor & Lead teams: Guide a team of bright, aspiring researchers and foster technical excellence and critical thinking.
- Translate Research into Action: Produce publications, articles and blogs that translate complex research into clear insights and recommendations.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to strengthen partnerships and scale impact.
- 7-10 years of experience in energy-economy modelling, climate policy, economic analysis and research.
- Advanced proficiency in modelling tools such as R, Python, STATA, GAMS, Vensim, or GIS software is desirable
- Proven track record of leading policy-driven research publications and high-impact collaborations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to convey insights to diverse audiences.
- Experience in team management, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
