Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• manage and execute R&D Projects in the site for a specific platform/technology/product category, including among other NPD, VAVEs and cost saving. Works with limited oversight
  from Mamager to guarantee achievement of project targets in term of time, cost and quality in execution as well as an efficient handover/know-how transfer to Production.

• In the NPD context and in collaboration with R&D Comp.Center and other plant functions is responsible for defining manufacturing processes and technologies and providing to Category Team(s) all inputs needed for DFM best practices implementation.

• is responsible for all phases of IM moulds development for his platform of responsibility, from supplier selection to mould design till validation and release to production. (note: currently different in Nigbo-> TBD)

• collaborate with other plant functions on identifying possible optimization and improvements on products and processes with main focus on cost optimization and quality improvement/management.

Additional Responsibilities

• Cooperate with other Global Mfg R&D team and overall FHCS technical community  on specific projects

• aimed to maintain/increase competitiveness of FHCS Plants and FHCS products in general.

• implementation and maintenance of QA16 system guidelines in the plant, with possible lead role on some specific areas (eg: Specs)

• Support local organization on the successful

• Support local organization in the context of possible quality issues associated to products or equipments.

• Cooperate with and/or support Engineering team on developing equipment/automation needed for new product industrialization.

• All Production site internal department (Logistic, QA, Maintenance, Production etc)

• Local/Global suppliers and 3Ps

• R&D Competence Center and Regional Hub

• Other Category and Corporate counterparts

• Global Mfg R&D community

Qualifications:

Professional Experience & Education

• Bachelor (min) or Master (preferred) degree in Scientific filed (preferably  Engineering or  Chemistry)
• Good knowledge of local site language + fluent in written and verbal English
• Experience in Project management preferably in structured context multi-cultural/globally operating business context

Specific Knowledge

• Good relational and communication skills.
• Flexibility, problem solving and priority setting oriented approach
• Good to Excellent technical know-how on all relevant technologies for the site
• Ability to work in multi-cultural context
• Good knowledge on 2D and 3D  CAD
