Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:
- 24.01 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
- Starting pay $24.01 with progression to $24.73 over 1 year.
Benefits Include:

- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, compliance, benefits, and leave,
- Handles all administrative tasks including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Manager or appropriate staff.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, and contribute to the development of policies
- Assist in administration of employee leaves and accommodations, maintaining accurate internal records and conducting regular audits for accuracy
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees.
- Establish/maintain the accuracy of employee records by both manual data entry and auditing the database for all employee record changes including, but not limited to status changes, pay rate changes, address changes, new hires, terminations, tax withholdings, and direct deposit information
- Participate in projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager or other leadership
- Maintains confidentiality of all information
- Maintains and reviews changes for proper authorization and adherence to policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulations
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred. PHR certification a plus
- Minimum 2-4 years Human Resources experience
- Must be able to work with minimal instruction, but willing to accept and take direction.

- Prior experience with the use of modern business applications and skills. (Knowledge of
- Ability to recommend appropriate course of action with employee concerns, make independent decisions, set priorities, measure progress, implement rewards or recommend discipline as required.
- Ability to use diplomacy and tact in dealing with the client, peers and subordinates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent desire to provide excellent customer service is a must.
- Ability to listen to employee concerns, and act on those concerns appropriately.
- Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions and technical or legal terminology.
- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- 90% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
- 10% of work is accomplished out of doors.
- Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and repetitive hand- wrist-eye and finger motion, and extensive computer work. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Limited light lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required.
- May be asked to travel to company functions or for outside training.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
