- Regulatory compliance and Risk management
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and EUK and German regulatory frameworks (eg. AFIR, EmoG, GDPR)
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and risk mitigation strategies to support business growth while minimizing legal risks
- Conduct risk assessments and implement internal controls to prevent compliance breaches
- Internal compliance framework and governance
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance topics, including ethical business conduct, data protection, and anti-corruption measures
- Serve as to point of contact for regulatory authorities and auditors regarding compliance matters Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, the Sr. Security Officer, People and Culture, Operations, Product and other relevant stakeholders to integrate compliance into business decisions
- Support the development of new products and services by ensuring compliance in early stages as required
- Advice on contractual obligations with customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
- Investigations & reporting
- Lead internal audits and compliance investigations to identify and address potential violations
- Prepare compliance reports for leadership, the board of directors, and external regulatory bodies
- Ensure timely reporting of any compliance incidents and implement corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement of the compliance framework
- Ownership of code of conduct and compliance related training (gdpr, data protection)
- Experience & knowledge
- Relevant experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs, preferably within the broader eMobility industry
- Strong knowledge of German and EU regulatory requirements, including data protection, and mobility regulations
- Experienced and comfortable with risk assessment methodologies
- Skills and attributes
- Analytical and structured thinker with a solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders across different levels
- Ability to work independently and drive compliance initiatives in a fast-paced innovative environment
- Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) required
- Education and CertificationsDegree in Law, compliance, or a related field
- Relevant compliance certifications (eg CCEP, SCCE, or similar) are a plus
June 2025 Location
Onsite in Berlin is preferred
Hybrid system:
- 2 days per week at the office, 3 days remote
- EUREF Campus in Schöneberg in Berlin - Europe's hotspot for green technology and eMobility
