Responsibilities:

  • Write technical protocols and procedures.

  • Assist with and/or conduct medical device testing.

  • Coordinate medical device testing with internal partners.

  • Organize and analyze data.

  • Summarize test data and write technical reports.

  • Create 3D models and drawings.

  • Build prototypes by 3D-printing, molding, etc.

  • Organize and maintain documentation.

  • Interact effectively within the department, the company, and with external personnel, as needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification

  • Coursework towards an Engineering Degree or related discipline.

  • Completion of two years of Engineering Degree preferred.

Experience Required:

  • Ability to communicate concisely.

  • Previous work experience preferred.

  • Preference given to candidates who can provide examples of technical or creative ‘hands on’ projects completed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Detail oriented and data driven.

  • Mechanically inclined and ‘hands on’.  Previous mechanical testing experience a plus.

  • Previous CAD modelling experience a plus.

  • Assertive, takes initiative, self-starter, energetic, motivated and self-managed.

  • Positive, respectful, and professional attitude.

  • Ability to problem solve and adapt quickly.

  • Works well in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and operate in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good analytical skills and sound judgment.

  • Technical writing and documentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Excited and motivated to learn.
