  1. Job Overview
    1. Planning, organizing, and monitoring projects and programs
    2. Create tactical plans and monitor, and report on progress
    3. Establish, with Client, the on-site escalation process
    4. Managing cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams  
    5. Communicating objectives and direction clearly
    6. Develop a roadmap to connect projects to a Program (multi-project campus or site)
    7. Assess program performance
    8. Represent project team at routine technical meetings
    9. Assess project completion vs budget and coordinate staff adjustments and change orders with the Site Leads and Project Managers
    10. Preparing reports for Delivery Managers and Project Managers
    11. Support senior management business development activities

    1. Commissioning background for MEP systems
    2. Project management background for engineering projects
  3. Travel
    1. Length of Travel (50% travel)
      1. Travel can vary to extend from 2 days to 2 weeks
      1. Rarely more than 2 weeks per month
      2. Day trips to local projects are not included in targeted travel level
    1. Reasons for Travel
      1. Helping kick off projects (assisting Site lead)
      1. FWT
      2. Cx kickoff Meeting
      3. Attend field meetings
      4. Assist in surge staffing for testing
      5. IST/MST
      6. Client meeting for special situations
      7. Audit of EYP programs on sites
      8. Deliver training on field leadership
      9. Represent Ramboll at industry events and conferences
  1. Assist Development or QA/QC of BD proposals
    1. Review drawings for Equipment vs RFP listed equipment
    2. Review drawings for applicability of listed equipment
    3. Review RFP documents and generate questions for scope of work
    4. Review documents for any obvious design/commissioning issues
    5. Prepare preliminary budgets and schedules
  2. Develop or QA/QC Project Documents
    1. Load bank plans
    2. Design and Submittal Reviews
    3. Project Scripts (L2 thru L5)
    4. Cx Plans
    5. Cx program schedules
    6. Completion of on-site L2/L3 (L4 readiness) documents
    7. Final Reports
    8. Base Line IR reports
    9. Special project documentation
  3. Program management coordination
    1. Coordination with PM to download initial drawings, submittals, and specifications after being awarded contract.
    2. Develop with PM the team setup in Construction Management system so all team members can have access to latest information.
    3. Verify weekly that any updates to construction information have been passed to EYP MCF team members (this ensures our documentation is matching updates)
    4. Responsible for checking all Cx documents are based off latest information for the project.
    5. Attend OAC meeting for assigned program
  4. Script Templates
    1. Manage Templates for different equipment/customers
    2. Issue the base templates to Cx Agents for updating for each project
    3. Verify proper format for use
  5. Cx Alloy Administrator
    1. Maintain and deliver training on documentation of how Cx Alloy will be used and setup so consistent throughout program.
    2. Establish typical program requirements
    3. Once project is up and running, establish initial personnel in project from outside members.
    4. Point of contact with Cx Alloy when there are issues.
  6. Support for onsite personnel with:
    1. Running meetings (as necessary)
    2. Technical support
    3. QA/QC and distribution of daily documentation (as necessary)

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, PMP or equivalent military or industrial training with 7+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical/controls engineering, energy services, plant operations, or related field or construction management
  • Experience in the commissioning or maintaining of critical electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience working with general contractor and excellent skills in communicating expectations
  • Knowledgeable in major regulations, industry codes and standards as well as basic construction materials, means and methods
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent
  • Qualified to obtain PMP or equivalent
  • Qualified to obtain Cx certifications
