The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Taking conduct of significant Indian based legal matters.</li><li>Interfacing with senior management of Indian Hitachi Rail entity.</li><li>Interpreting, negotiating and closing out complex deals for the Rail Sector Business Unit in India.</li><li>Interpreting and guiding senior management in relation to regulatory and legislative requirements.</li><li>Taking conduct of significant arbitrations and litigations.</li><li>Interacting with the compliance function.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Law Degree from a reputable University</li><li>PQE of 7-10 years</li><li>Preferably with experience at an international industrial company</li><li>Knowledge and experience gained in rail, oil &amp; gas, power, aero, or the automotive industry sectors would be highly beneficial</li><li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and with multiple key stakeholders.</li></ul>At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
