We are currently seeking a Technical Program Manager, Homologation. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills who is comfortable communicating complex issues across all levels of the organization.
The Role
Lucid Homologation is responsible for ensuring all our vehicles comply with the regulations necessary to enter our target markets. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing complex program-level timelines, interfacing with Lucid internal cross-functional hardware and software teams and keeping Homologation and vehicle programs up to date.
- Provide program support to Homologation team, ensuring clear communication of timeline milestones from all vehicle streams and support with escalation/resolution of program decisions as appropriate
- Create and maintain detailed Homologation projects in our systems, utilizing their functionality to provide timing plans, critical paths, resource constraints, dependencies and risks
- Track and report program-level metrics and dashboards for output to the business
- Be proactive with identifying risks to milestones and provide options for resolution
- Interface with both software and hardware Engineering teams in program meetings
- Be an integral part of the Homologation team and support all aspects of the process, including engineering data collection, documenting product changes and ensuring vehicle assets are of the correct specification to test
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience, automotive preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Program Management, in a technical/engineering environment
- Homologation experience (or other regulatory certification) is preferred but not critical
- Advanced MS Office and Atlassian suite skills
- Exceptional communication in written and verbal English, detail-oriented
- Ability to articulate issues and solutions to all levels of the business, using oral, written and presentational mediums
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or other STEM field
