CIMMYT is a core CGIAR Research Center, a global research partnership for a food-secure future, dedicated to reducing poverty, enhancing food and nutrition security, and improving natural resources. <a></a>For more information, visit <a href="https://www.cimmyt.org/">cimmyt.org</a>CIMMYT is seeking three proactive, innovative, and self-motivated professionals for the positions of ICT Technician to work in the Knowledge Management – Information Technologies Unit at CIMMYT.The positions will be based at CIMMYT headquarter in Texcoco, near Mexico City. Specific duties:<ul> <li>System administrations tasks based on ISO 20000 processes and standard operating procedures in ITU</li> <li>Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve hardware, software, and network problems either remotely or on-site </li> <li>Ensure that incidents are resolved according to the service level agreement (SLA) and that predefined resolution timelines are met. </li> <li>Collaborating with second-level support and other IT teams to ensure issues are addressed effectively and escalated when needed. </li> <li>Creating and updating technical documentation and knowledge base articles. </li> <li>Recover data in the event of hardware or software failure. </li> <li>Prepare and enroll new and replacing end-user computers </li> <li>Set up and configure new and replacing end-user computers on the corporate network </li> <li>Manage end-user computer data transfers from/to end-user computers provisioned on the network </li> <li>Set up and configure Microsoft applications on Premise and 365 services </li> <li>Set up and configure printing service for end-user computers as required. </li> <li>Set up and configure network shares for end-user computers as required. </li> <li>Attend General IT service requests and incident reports </li> <li>Verify that the meeting rooms and the equipment are in maintained in good condition and ensure maintenance is done as required. </li> <li>Organize the arrangement of the chairs and tables, audio-visual and/or computer equipment to meet the special needs of the users. </li> <li>Set up all electronic equipment on time and ensure they are properly working. </li> <li>Perform other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years related work experience. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering.</li> <li>Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX 2012 Certifications: Development, Extensions and Deployment for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a plus).</li> <li>Intermediate level in English language (English test will be administered; candidate must score a minimum of B2 as per CEFR).</li> <li>The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Critical thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem Solving decision making, Negotiation and Conflict resolution.</li> </ul>  Benefits CIMMYT offers an attractive remuneration package and support for continuous professional development.
