Responsibilities:
Effectively lead the maintenance team by setting priorities on the floor, establishing accountability, conducting internal trainings, etc. Communicate expectations and hold accountable for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Create and update Skill and Training matrix’s.
Generate, capture, and communicate with team members KPI progress throughout the year.
Set maintenance programs, with emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance in line with the agreed strategy.
Create and update maintenance procedures, database, and systems to ensure process optimization.
Manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures within the maintenance department.
Manage equipment related projects, coordinate contractor activities, manage spare parts and maintenance activities.
In alignment with HSE requirements, monitor and review the reliability of plant equipment and systems, minimizing unplanned downtime, improving overall efficiency, troubleshooting plans, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Troubleshoot process, machine, material and mold per needs.
Create, develop and update technical specifications for the equipment together with engineering team.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred; HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Proven track record of 7+ years in a related technical role (engineering/maintenance), including at least 5 years of experience in large scale operation manufacturing maintenance team management.
Strong leadership skills with experience working with both management and technical/maintenance personnel. Must have proven experience as a direct people manager involving encouraging, motivating, coaching, training, and developing growth plans for team members. Communicate with all departments team members on company events, visitors, and activities.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding maintenance KPIs. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement culture.
Knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanic and automation.
Proven experience in budgeting, including the ability to develop, manage, and optimize maintenance budgets.
Priority setting capabilities, time management, and flexibility.
