This role involves developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement processes.</p><p><br>What you will be doing</p><ul><li>Expected to manage both Direct &amp; Indirect Purchasing team</li></ul><p>Direct Purchasing:</p><ul><li>Ensure FG PO’s are released as per the planning team inputs with proper approvals in place</li><li>Ensure BPA’s are available for all SKU’s with right cost</li><li>Collaborate with finance team to align on the monthly purchase variance reconciliations</li><li>Ensure ASN’s received without errors by following the standard procedures</li><li>Proactively review shortage analysis reports and mitigate shortage to avoid lines down by collaborating with respective Global Commodity Managers</li><li>Monitor all consigned parts availability and ensure sufficient PO’s are placed as per the alignment with planning team</li></ul><p>Indirect Purchasing:</p><ul><li>Indirect Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as IT, marketing, facilities, and professional services</li><li>Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability</li><li>Contract Negotiation: Negotiate long-term and blanket contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions</li><li>Cost Management: Analyse current spends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to reduce procurement costs</li></ul><p>Team &amp; People Management:</p><ul><li>Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness</li><li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategies</li><li>Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements</li><li>Ensure weekly &amp; Month reports are getting published as per the SLA without errors</li><li>Set Actionable &amp; measurable Quarterly goals for the team and have a weekly review with the team to meet team goals</li><li>Develop Purchasing team scorecard and measure individual team performance</li></ul><p> </p><p>Who you are and What you bring</p><ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM) is preferred</li><li>Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect purchasing</li><li>Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools</li><li>Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop innovative solutions</li><li>Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams</li><li>Ability to perform effectively and independently in a virtual environment</li><li>Ability to effectively manage job responsibilities with minimal supervision</li></ul><p> </p><div> </div>
