We’re looking for a Global Category Manager – IT. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract for maternity cover.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute the global and regional category strategy for IT spend, covering software, hardware, network, data, services, and telecoms

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key senior stakeholders across regions to align and fulfil IT procurement needs

  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with company procurement policy

  • Deliver cost savings and added value by leveraging global and regional spend

  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring ongoing contract compliance and continuous improvement

  • Oversee all commercial, operational, and supply chain risk management within the IT category

  • Support business units by providing procurement expertise and driving global standardisation across suppliers

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Significant experience in category management within IT procurement

  • Strong strategic thinking and sourcing skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation

  • Ability to operate globally and collaboratively in a remote team environment

  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills

  • Experience delivering value beyond cost savings (e.g. innovation, efficiency, risk reduction)
