We are seeking a proactive and passionate Sustainability Coordinator to join our Environmental and Sustainability team on a landmark infrastructure project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering meaningful sustainability outcomes on a major development.

Reporting to the Sustainability Lead, you will contribute both in the field and administratively, supporting the delivery of project-wide sustainability targets and compliance requirements, including under the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide field-based and administrative support to the Environmental and Sustainability team.
  • Contribute to the delivery of ISC rating tool requirements, including data collection, evidence collation, and audit preparation.
  • Assist in sustainability reporting, communications, and performance tracking.
  • Support the identification and implementation of innovative sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with construction and design teams to influence sustainable outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation for audits, certifications, and internal reporting.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of sustainability principles in infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with the ISC rating framework is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Enthusiastic about sustainability and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment.
