Responsibilities:

• Feasibility knowledge (DFM) of Stamping/Press Parts- Bom Creation, Conventional & Progressive route Strip layout, RM, Process definition, Die Sizes calculation
• Knowledge of Engineering standards followed by selection of Raw Material for the required products Creation of Bill of Materials for Raw material, Individual Components and Assembly.
• Should know the tonnage calculation for Cutting and Noncutting operations
• knowledge of sheet metal formability, stamping simulation, Tool Design & Tryouts
• Designing press tools like Blanking, Piercing, Restricting, Forming, Bending and Progressive press Tools.
• Knowledge of Coating & Welding process

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engg.

3 to 6 yrs. Minimum reqd

• Designing Tool for critical press parts. (High tolerance)
• Experience for creating 2D & 3D in CATIA for: forming and surfacing
• Sound GD&T Knowledge.

Good English communication skills (spoken, written and comprehension) are expected.
