Includes support of 24 hr call-in hotline for product users.</li><li>Support the sales organization in the areas of customer demonstrations, training, trade shows, workshops and customer feedback.</li><li>Support the depot service department as needed.</li><li>In house repairs</li><li>Support the quality department with investigations and documentation of quality issues</li><li>Support PLM and engineering teams in production and of engineering specials.</li><li>Support the creation of internal and external documentation such as, manuals, procedures and record keeping.</li><li>Valid driver´s license.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>BS in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science or Oceanography, or similar.</li><li>1-3 years' experience with demonstrated ability to diagnose, mechanical, electrical and software issues and provide solutions to these complex systems.</li><li>Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to learn and understand complex technical requirements, understand and write technical documents.</li><li>Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office products is essential: excel, word and power point</li><li>Must be able to travel up to of 25% of the time, international and domestic.</li></ul>Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>In-water Operations</li><li>Oceanography or Robotics</li><li>Linux and DOS Skills</li><li>Technical sales and customer service</li><li>Seagoing experience on small and large vessels, preferred</li><li>Small boat operation</li><li>Ability to obtain Security Clearance,</li><li>Training Surveillance Maritime, BOSIET</li></ul>Supervisory Responsibilities:<ul><li>None</li></ul>Training Requirements:<ul><li>Sea Survival certification and other Marine certifications as required</li><li>Internal training as required:</li></ul><ul><li>Hoist and lift</li><li>ESD</li><li>Small boat operations</li></ul><ul><li>IFS Overview</li><li>HSE/Quality Overview</li><li>Hazardous Communication</li></ul>Personal Protective Equipment:<ul><li>In accordance with Teledyne Marine Systems safety policies, such as:</li><li>The use of Safety Glasses is required throughout all production areas of the facility</li><li>Safety shoes as required per TMS policy</li><li>Personal floatation as required.</li></ul>The physical/mental demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
