Intern Food Quality

The project has a duration of 6 months, beginning June - July 2025. We only place current students that need to do a mandatory internship for university.
About Farmless
At Farmless we’re brewing amino acid complete proteins without agricultural land. We’re creating a new interface between food and energy by selecting nutritious microbes that taste great and can grow on renewable energy-based feedstocks. Our fermentation platform is up to 5000 times more land efficient than animals, which allows humanity to free up vast amounts of land, rewild our planet and draw down gigatons of carbon.
The Role
At Farmless, we're offering an exciting internship opportunity where you help shape the future of food production. We are looking for a motivated Food Quality intern who will support in the implementation of a robust food quality system for our new Brewery in Amsterdam. During this internship you will work closely with our experienced team.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and implementation of Food Quality Systems, including protocol development, work instructions, and compliance procedures.
Assist in setting up and maintaining specification management, ensuring accurate data entry for ingredients, nutritional values, allergens, and product attributes.
Support on Novel Food Application and regulatory compliance.
Participate in the creation and refinement of quality assurance protocols, including product testing, external analysis coordination, etc.
Requirements
Background in Food Quality, Food Safety, Food Technology or related field.
Experience in working in Food Manufacturing Environment is a plus.
Team player skills with excellent English proficiency.
