This role focuses on generating service enquiries, managing both existing and new customer accounts, and contributing to the growth of service revenue. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting and enhancing margins while delivering value through the promotion of service products.Strategic &amp; Operational Contribution:<ul><li>Support the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for the UK service organisation, specifically focused on SFT services.</li><li>Actively contribute to country-level goals through the promotion of field services, repairs, spare parts, technical audits, training, and service projects.</li></ul>Sales &amp; Business Development:<ul><li>Drive service sales within the assigned regional territory, including responsibility for all aspects of SFT service sales performance.</li><li>Generate and process service RFQs in line with departmental procedures.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities for service products, balancing opportunity with risk assessment.</li><li>Promote the GEA service brand by building strong customer relationships and fostering trust.</li></ul>Account &amp; Stakeholder Management:<ul><li>Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning service delivery with business objectives.</li><li>Actively manage key accounts and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Provide support to internal service teams to ensure seamless enquiry handling and order execution.</li></ul>Financial &amp; Commercial Oversight:<ul><li>Own the regional service sales budget, maintaining awareness of pricing and margin targets as defined by service management.</li><li>Present monthly sales performance reports, including order intake, pipeline opportunities, risk assessment, and competitor insights.</li></ul>Technical Expertise &amp; Training:<ul><li>Engage in ongoing technical training to build in-depth knowledge of GEA's service and new machine product offerings.</li><li>Provide expert technical support and contribute to cross-selling initiatives for services and new equipment.</li></ul>CRM &amp; Installed Base Management:<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity data within the CRM system.</li><li>Update and manage I-BASE records, ensuring visibility of installed equipment and its service history.</li></ul>Marketing &amp; Events:<ul><li>Participate in marketing initiatives and trade fairs as required to support brand and service promotion.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Ideally educated to a minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar sales role, preferably with exposure to the food and dairy processing industries.</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to independently plan customer visits and manage day-to-day sales activities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships in a Field Service Sales environment.</li><li>Skilled in sales negotiation across multiple levels, preferably with formal training.</li><li>Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using ERP systems.</li><li>Capable of preparing and delivering impactful sales presentations and reports tailored to various audiences.</li><li>Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
