Founded in 2019, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.</div></div></div></div></div></div>Senior Network Engineer Essential Duties: The Senior Network Engineer role will be responsible for design, development, configuration, troubleshooting, administration, and support of Redwood Material’s corporate and OT internal network infrastructures. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining performance, availability, and integrity of network connectivity for operations across the company. Implementing best practices in security at the edge and internally, while enabling the business to scale rapidly will also be core to this role. Responsibilities will include:  <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Design, implement and administer routing, switching, LAN &amp; WAN architectures, Wi-Fi, and firewall policies that will scale </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Support Corporate and Manufacturing / Operational Technology (OT) operations </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Partner with cross functional teams to discover business needs to drive requirements for custom networking solutions </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Author and maintain detailed design documents, system architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Work hand in hand with IT &amp; OT teams to co-architect interface systems such as DMZ’s, firewalls, VPNs, and Layer 3 switches </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Provide break/fix support for network related issues  </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Participation in an on-call support rotation </li></ul>Desired Qualifications  <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years' experience in Networking </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Expert level knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF), switching and tunneling protocols (MSTP, IPSec, EVPN/VXLAN), architecting scalable, distributed &amp; redundant infrastructure, and maintaining up-time for critical systems </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong design &amp; support experience with campus wireless systems &amp; AAA </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to setup, configure, and manage infrastructure monitoring systems </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience supporting industrial systems and protocols, such as SCADA, OPC, Profinet, CIP, Modbus, Ethernet/IP </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Juniper Networks, Cisco, Aruba, or similar hardware </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!  </li></ul>Physical Requirements:  <ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. </li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards </li></ul>Working Conditions:  <ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Environment, such as office or outdoors.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time. </li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing. </li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Occasional work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job. </li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Occasional travel requirements.</li></ul>The position is full-time and located in McCarran, Nevada.
