And we need you to direct our field operations to help us become a leader in this new burgeoning sector in the renewable energy industry. 

The Parts Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, troubleshoot, and repair any broken and/or malfunctioning equipment
  • Utilize Inventory Management Systems
    • Use software (e.g., ERP, CMMS, or Excel-based systems) to track part usage, stock levels, and order history
  • Establish and Maintain Safety Stock Levels
    • Monitor inventory thresholds and set minimum/maximum stock levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking
  • Support Preventative Maintenance Programs
    • Ensure required parts are available for scheduled maintenance activities
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis for Inventory Discrepancies
    • Investigate and report causes of part shortages or overages to improve inventory accuracy
  • Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives
    • Recommend process improvements for inventory control and storage optimization
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety and Regulatory Guidelines
    • to workplace safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials (if applicable).
  • Track and Report Inventory KPIs
    • Maintain reports on usage trends, shrinkage, and lead times to assist management with planning and budgeting
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure parts are properly labeled and stored
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
    • Maintain a clean and organized parts department
  • Order and receive parts, verifying quantities and quality
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts
    • Assist in the preparation of parts for production and maintenance teams
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift and move heavy parts as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
