Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for a Cash application analyst. This position is hybrid and located in Budapest.  

What You Will Do

• Bank Statement posting in SAP: processing manual and semi-automated journal entries related to cash movements
• Responsibility for the correct content of bank GLs and bank clearing GLs
• Month-end closing tasks
• Monthly cash accounts reconciliation
• Provide audit informational support (external/SOX) for payment postings and reconciliations
• Participation in projects and team works
• Effective cooperation with all employees and internal/ external stakeholders
• Seeking for continuous improvement possibilities
• Participation on mandatory trainings with regular competency check
• Contribution to goals being achieved in relation to any other tasks which are delegated by the Manager

What You Bring

Required:

• Min. 2 years in the relevant field (Cash application, Treasury, Accounting or Finance)
• Advanced communication level in English (both written and verbal)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Logical thinking and paying attention to the details under pressure as well
• Having a good understanding of cash processes
• High tolerance for monotony
• Good time-management and be ability to organize day-to-day tasks
• Supportive attitude
• Complete competency check within probation period (min. 85%)

Preferred:

• College or university degree preferably in Finance/Accounting
• Other European language knowledge
• Good interpersonal skills
