What you’ll do:
- Execute System Process Assurance activities for Archer internal system development according to the established system processes and tools for compliance with ARP4754A.
- Execute Software Quality Assurance activities for Archer internal software development according to the established software processes and tools for compliance with DO-178C.
- Execute Supplier Oversight activities for Software and AEH developments according to Archer established process for compliance with DO-178C, DO-254 and other applicable regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Archer System and Software processes, with focus on compliance with ARP4754A and DO-178C.
- Interface with FAA DERs and Certification Authorities for coordination, execution and follow-up of systems, software and AEH compliance reviews.
- Maintain and control the issues found in all System/Software/AEH design assurance activities until resolution.
What you need:
- 6+ years of experience in System and Software Quality Assurance activities for aerospace standards.
- At least a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience with full lifecycle safety critical systems, software and AEH complying with design assurance standards like ARP4754A/B, DO-178C and DO-254..
- Experience with multiple systems and software environments and tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, demanding work environments.
- Experience with agile/lean methodologies.
Bonus qualifications
- Experience with Tool Qualification following DO-330.
- Experience with Model Based Development and Verification following DO-331.
- Experience with ARP4761.
- Experience with System and Software developments for an aircraft OEM.
- Experience with FAA Certification Compliance Reviews.
- Familiarity with Archer CM Tools, e.g. Polarion, Collaborator, Git/Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jira and Teamcenter.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $134,400 - $168,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
