About the Job

About Rondo Energy

Rondo Energy's mission is to eliminate 15% of global CO2 emissions in 15 years.

To accomplish this mission, Rondo is deploying low-cost, zero-carbon Rondo Heat Batteries to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy and to significantly decarbonize industrial processes that are commonly thought of as "difficult-to-decarbonize". Our Heat Batteries charge from intermittent renewables to provide high temperature, continuous heat for customers safely, reliably, at an unprecedented 98% efficiency - and at a cost point that is lower than any other method.

We are looking for an experienced, customer-centric planning professional to join our team and repower industrial heat at scale. This role collaborates across the entire Rondo organization, supporting scheduling and project controls for Rondo’s projects, groups within Rondo, and consolidating all into a unified schedule.

Join our team and together we can reduce world CO₂ emissions by 1% in 10 years, and by 15% in 15 years!

  • Project Controls: Implement standard project management metrics and controls to monitor progress, evaluate schedule changes, identify risks, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Construction Project Management: Liaise with EPC and other construction contractors, to integrate project schedules and other project management metrics as appropriate.  Review and monitor contractor’s performance of the project.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate supply chain planning to support project requirements with complete integration of both ISBL and OSBL parts and resources management. Optimize resource allocation and manage constraints effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve planning processes and tools. Conduct root cause analysis on deviations from plans and develop corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders to obtain approvals for planning tools and schedules. Communicate schedule updates and changes promptly to all relevant parties.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress including highlighting key milestones achieved and upcoming deadlines, analyzing schedule variances and identifying potential risks or delays, and tracking resource utilization and allocation.

What You Will Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (various disciplines), Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in production planning or scheduling roles. Experience with global project management is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera Cloud, P6, and other project management software. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and handle complex situations.

Bonus Points!

  • Experience in large, integrated infrastructure projects
  • Initial rollout of Primavera Cloud Services
