About the Job
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager - NJ LSRP to join our Remediation team in our Bloomfield, New Jersey office. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering remediation consulting services to our key clients.
The successful candidate will assume leadership roles on projects and within the department, and will develop strong relationships with the team, and with clients to enable the pursuit of new opportunities. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as a part of a project team.
The successful candidate will be committed to the team’s growth and lead business development efforts; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; will manage the technical, cost and schedule elements of project delivery; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work collaboratively with the NY/NJ Remediation Area Manager and professionals within other AECOM business lines
- Support the NY/NJ Remediation Area Manager to achieve business growth objectives. This includes developing new business, marketing to potential and existing clients, and being integral in the process of securing and managing clients and contracts
- Manage client portfolios and acting as Project Manager on large, complex projects, responsible for technical delivery, schedule management, fiscal management, client liaison, reporting requirements, and coordination with project team members
- Oversee investigation and remediation projects in New Jersey as the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)
- Review and approve NJDEP forms and submittals for compliance with NJDEP regulations and guidance as LSRP
- Coordinate and prepare Remediation Action Outcome (RAO) documents, written reports, work plans, and technical memorandums; analyze data and develop supported conclusions
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase project efficiencies, improve technical methodologies and add value to client service offerings
- Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others
- Assist with development of junior staff through mentoring
