EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four year college university; or three to five years of related experience in an automotive/motorcycle manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with daily contact with customers or strong personal skills to deal with customers on a daily basis.
BACKGROUND/ SKILLS
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (excel, word, power point).
- Intermediate e-mail knowledge
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong communication and time management skills are essential.
- Detail oriented with the ability to understand and process large amounts of numerical data.
- Ability to interface and communicate within all levels of the organization as well as ASI’s customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as daily customer contact for both mass production and service parts.
- Proactive approach to customer’s needs, respond to customer’s requests in a timely manner, and report to management promptly.
- Develop daily, weekly, monthly production plan based on customer orders and current production status to satisfy customer demand (100% delivery) while maintaining minimum inventory level.
- Provide monthly as well as long term production forecast information to other departments for budgeting purposes as well as material and parts ordering.
- Foresee potential production shortfalls and surpluses, propose and implement necessary planning adjustments and report to management.
- Promote use of centralized computer system and data accuracy.
- Support plant implementation of DAPP (Daily Achievement of Production Plans), review and verify accuracy of DAPP reporting/tracking sheets.
- Support ASI plant business plan targets and propose new ideas to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
- Complete projects and reports as requested by Production Control management.
- Support departmental 6S activity.
