About the role
We seek a highly motivated and organized individual to join our dynamic marketing team as either a Vice President or Assistant Vice President. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy and operations, content and thought leadership development, and team and project management, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall marketing initiatives and ensuring the successful implementation of various projects. Additionally, a passion for gender and climate initiatives will be an asset, as we are committed to driving lasting impact in these areas..
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing and PR Strategy and Operations / Project Management:
- Effectively work with senior leaders and SVP of marketing in developing and executing marketing and PR strategy linked to IIX business objectives.
- Effectively manage and coordinate multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Strong ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure adherence to deadlines and financial goals.
2. Content Marketing:
- Contribute to developing comprehensive content marketing strategies, with a focus on thought leadership positioning, that align with business objectives.
- Strong writer and editor, who is able to review and ensure quality of marketing and PR content by junior team members. Background in investment, financial, and business content a strong plus.
- Execute content plans, including creating, editing, and optimizing various types of content formats (blogs, articles, social media posts, EDMs, etc.)
3. Marketing and PR Campaigns:
- Assist in planning, executing, and measuring the success of marketing and PR campaigns across various channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign implementation.
- Able to manage the full PR process and multiple workflows, working with in-house team, PR consultants, and vendors as needed. International and Indonesian media networks a strong plus.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
4. Team Management:
- Work with SVP of marketing to develop and grow marketing team, including in team performance reviews, development plan, 1:1 coaching, etc.
5. Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Able to apply research data to marketing and PR campaigns and content, and to advise IIX leaders on best practices.
6. Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the performance of marketing initiatives.
- Prepare regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing operations / project management and handling multiple projects simultaneously across regions.
- Experience in PR strategy and execution.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing content marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of various marketing and PR channels and their integration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Has strong networks (e.g., media, business community) in Indonesia.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using marketing and project management tools.
- Passion for gender and climate initiatives.

Location: Remote work but candidate must be located in Indonesia and have local professional networks
