Responsibilities:

The CNC Operator for Accumulators is responsible for operating a production line, while ensuring adherence to company standards for safety, clean environment, quality, and productivity in order to meet customer requirements. The CNC Operator will have daily production goals that will need to be accomplished. The CNC Operator will need to ensure they have good communication with management for completions and if there were delays in meeting production goals.

  • Operates and monitors equipment used in the production process

  • Responsible for the line performance regarding output and uptime

  • Ensures production processes remain compliant with Quality Policies and initiates appropriate measures in case of deviations

  • Cleans and maintains machines and equipment

  • Digitally documents process and quality data

  • Fabricate items such as machine parts and tools.

  • Set up CNC lathes according to blueprint specifications.

  • Select and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

  • Conduct quality assurance checks

  • Meet production schedules.

  •  Follow all safety regulations.

  • CNC Production Manager with quality checks and machine adjustments. 

  • Fosters an environment that enables daily adherence to the Freudenberg Guiding Principles.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree

2-3 years of relevant experience is required; Preferably working with metals
High level of commitment and flexibility
Willingness and ability to work shifts
Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment

Can read and interpret a blueprint
