The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Senior Buyer for high voltage equipment in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of essential materials. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement material planning strategies using SAP MRP functionality.

  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a buyer in the high voltage equipment or related industry.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with SAP or other MRP functionality.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
