Position Summary:

We are looking for a Product Designer with experience designing for technical products and a passion for solving complex problems. The ideal candidate will focus on representing customer needs in the product development process by analyzing the current workflows, conducting user research and working with multiple stakeholders to understand our strategy. The role will work closely with our engineering, product, commercial and marketing teams in support of our organizational goals and product roadmaps.

Essential Function:

Collaborate with product, engineering and stakeholders to coordinate project deliverables and measurable metrics for success
Contribute as a designer from end-to-end on projects, which means you are comfortable as a researcher, data scientist, strategist, and designer
Assemble design documentation and prototypes that can be easily shared and understood by stakeholders
Adopt and champion ongoing improvement to a user-centered design framework
Represent users in the product creation process to create highly empathetic, accessible and delightful designs across all personas
Work alongside engineers to implement pixel-perfect production-ready designs
Implement an effective feedback loop to ensure deliverables meet required objectives and communicate findings
Work to create and refine the design system patterns for our Xpansiv brand and platforms
Provide guidance and support in driving forward the overall brand, identity and aesthetic of the company
Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to improve your personal and team efficiency and productivity

Skills & Requirements:

5+ years design experience in a consulting or in-house environment
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
Prior exposure to UX research, including planning, designing, and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings, and articulating results
Experience developing component libraries and design systems from thoroughly annotated wires to clickable prototypes
Capable of generating ideas and prototyping concepts that are anchored in research insights, subject knowledge, technology requirements, and business goals
Experience designing for enterprise or technical experience
Strong graphic design fundamentals, including typography, iconography and composition
Knowledge of web, iOS and Android platform requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business-oriented approach
Fluent in UX wireframing and high-fidelity UI design prototyping tools like Figma
Customer obsessed and motivated to accelerate the transition to a decarbonized future

Base Salary

Compensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training. However, compensation in the following regions is expected to be as follows:

London: Compensation is expected to be between

£75,000-£85,000
