We are looking for a project manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience to enhance our team delivering tunnel design services, covering a range of tunnelling and underground civil works. To thrive in this role, you must have a background as in the underground infrastructure sector, with experience in project-, design management, or contract management, or some contracting background.
As Project Manager on our team, you'll have the opportunity to be constantly exposed to our experts in the field of tunnel engineering and to world-renowned projects, such as the Femernbælt, Femernsund and Dreilindentunnel projects, Stockholm Yellow Line and many more. We continuously aim to remain at the forefront of technology and create innovative solutions to tackle our challenges. You will join our tunnel department
In the tunnel department, we will offer tasks that will interest and develop you. We will ensure your tasks vary, allowing for greater independence and higher technical knowledge and competencies. You will be a part of an international work environment with expert knowledge, sharing a passion for major tunnel projects in all shapes and types.
We are truly an international department, with a strong group of experts in their field that can leverage the combined knowledge of their diverse backgrounds to deliver efficient and quality designs using the latest tools. The tunnel team consists of first-adopters and the department offers you an exciting experience by constantly exposing you to world-renowned projects and experts.
In collaboration with your team and project needs, you will be working through a hybrid of home- and office working coupled with a flexible approach to working hours tailored to suit your personal circumstances and geographic location.
Your key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Planning and leading teams in delivery of tunnelling and underground works projects.
- Project management including managing risks and opportunities in all project phases
- Work alongside the design manager and/or technical leads to deliver world-class engineering solutions
- Financial management of projects, including contract management of sub-consultants
- Contributing to the development of junior members of the team

- Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Science (MSc, MEng or similar)
- Strong capabilities and experience in tunnel & underground space projects
- Strong capabilities and experience with project and/or contract management
- Experience with bored tunnels or immersed tunnels is considered advantageous
- Experience with construction planning/scheduling is seen as beneficial.
- Ideally you have experience with working for contractors
- Good team working and problem-solving skills.
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include a passion for delivering innovative and high-quality design solutions. You must also be a confident communicator with a pro-active approach to collaboration and your own development.
