SAP Basis Lead

Our ideal candidate combines solid SAP Basis administration experience with organizational & IT infrastructure architectural skills (global landscape management).

Job description

Reporting to the Head of Global Cloud Services, the role is based in our modern global HQ offices, in an easily accessible Brussels location.  Key responsibilities are:

• Oversee and support the S4/HANA platforms based on cloud infrastructure.
• Support the build, testing, deployment, and industrialization of the solution.
• Provide application and implementation support, technology consultation, and operational support to the ERP user community.
• Ensure efficient and effective functioning and management of the ERP system, providing technical support in the identification and resolution of problems.
• Directly manage the SAP external technical integrator responsible for running the platform (build & run)
• Challenge & validate the requirements of the functional integrators before they are implemented by the technical integrator. 

Requirements

• Extensive SAP Basis administration experience in cloud environments, with proficiency in:
  • S4/HANA technical stack;
  • DevOps, security, development, and scripting skills;
  • BTP & ChaRM;
  • ABAP, iDoc, Solution Manager, SAP Basis, firefighter, SAP GRC, integration, and networking technologies.

• Organizational and IT infrastructure architecture skills to coordinate effectively across the organization.
• Proven experience in managing SAP landscape in an international environment.
