We are looking for candidates for the position of a Content/Operations Manager who thrive when collaborating with dynamic teams to build and maintain business critical data sets from various sources. You will utilize your technical background and problem-solving skills to drive innovation and insights and ensure the database has the most complete, accurate and up to date information. You will deepen your energy industry experience, while continuously developing new functionality, data or tools for our clients. You have a genuine interest in technology with a passion to deliver cutting-edge products along with a collaborative ability to motivate teams with clear elevating goals. Duties include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring tools and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Work closely with Product Management to create, maintain, evaluate and prioritize a product backlog according to business value or return on investment.
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs as identified by EPM Market Insights team
- Ensure compliance with all company and local regulatory requirements
- Work with local advisory and sales teams to refine content expansion.
- Document customer feedback provided through various channels including Pre Sales, Sales, Customer Experience and other sources.
- Provide market and competitive intelligence to support ongoing roadmap development
- Provide support for product gate materials related to data collection, data quality assurance and delivery.
- Able to work across departments to facilitate cross product growth and ensure a complete and robust product picture for clients.
- Assist in identifying public data sources for collection and integration into database. Take responsibility for a set group of data including inception, development, database creation, product creation and quality control.
- Carefully weighs ongoing maintenance burden of any content additions and ensures alterations to the product add more value to the client/market and drive further sales and improve integrity across our systems.
- Track and manage new and existing clients if applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university
- 3+ years of experience building software and working with data in a hands-on, data centric or product owner role with in-depth knowledge of agile process and principles
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience with or exposure to SQL, SQR, PL/SQL, Python, MySQL, T-SQL, Postgres, related source GIS systems is a plus
- Familiarity with development tracking tools like Jira/Atlassian/ADO
- Team player with outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills Exceptional leadership skills
- Experience with or exposure to consuming and cleansing data from third-party APIs and other sources and identifying and resolving performance and data quality issues
- Energy Market data experience, especially in multiple languages is a plus
