CAD Designer, Remote Central Europe

 

CelLink is seeking a skilled CAD Designer with SolidWorks or NX experience to support the development of next-generation flexible circuit interconnects for EV and energy applications. This role requires a detail-oriented, task-focused individual who can quickly translate design concepts into precise 3D models and 2D drawings. Ideal candidates will have experience with flex circuit design, stampings, plastic injection molding, and/or etched FPCs. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of wire harnesses, flexible printed circuits, and battery pack interconnects using CAD best practices and processes.
  • Incorporate design guidelines and DFM feedback to ensure parts are manufacturable and meet functional requirements.
  • Assist with the creation and release of engineering component and assembly drawings.
  • Assist with 2D geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Perform CAD data transfer to internal stakeholders.
  • Working with teams in multiple time zones.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in CAD design (Electrical components or automotive preferred).
  • Experience managing large 3D files (component and assembly).
  • PCBA board design experience, preferred.
  • Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and new technology.
  • Strong organization skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced start-up setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
