We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Core Responsibilities and Tasks <ul><li>Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality</li><li>Read and follow documented processes</li><li>Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure equipment is working properly</li><li>Loads and unload deliveries to and from regional branches</li><li>Operate computer to enter necessary documentation</li><li>Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment</li><li>Make and monitor adjustments in plant via control systems</li><li>Maintain inspection and inventory of operation tools</li><li>Contributes to division results and performance</li><li>Take care of internal and external customer needs to and expectations</li><li>Operate equipment specific to area such as:</li><li>CARBON: Bag products, samples and test and properly label each bag; manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press; run facility wastewater treatment plant; calibrate weigh belt every other hour; check incoming city water TDS daily; Insure POTW discharge parameters are within permit limits; perform hourly inspection of WWTP and complete the log</li><li>REGEN: Sort bottles by size and type of resin; Operate forklift to move resin tanks and materials through factory, may assist in loading trucks; evacuate bottles and regenerate resin batches; fill and quality test SDI products (process SDI product beginning to end); complete quality control documentation; monitor different meters, gauges, and pressures; regenerate resin to replenish mobile de-ionization trailers.</li></ul>Position Requirements<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Minimum three years of experience in an industrial setting</li><li>Knowledge of chemicals used in specific regeneration processes</li><li>Must be licensed forklift driver or able to obtain forklift certification at time of hire</li><li>Must understand process flow of carbon/reactivation process</li><li>Must be able to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training as well as additional site-specific safety and operator training</li><li>Mid-level machine troubleshoots and repair process machinery</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly to team members and management Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products</li><li>Preferred: Some manufacturing/plant experience preferred</li><li>Experience with implementing 5s and lean manufacturing principles</li><li>Additional Details and progress on equipment; operates within established work routines and occasional supervisory checks</li></ul>The estimated pay range for this position is $20-24. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
