Senior Structural Engineer - Construction Supervision (Buildings)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our project team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead and oversee construction supervision activities for complex structural projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the construction of structural elements on various projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards
• Review and approve structural shop drawings, material submittals, and construction methodologies
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality
• Identify and resolve structural engineering issues that arise during construction
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
• Prepare and review technical reports, including structural calculations and analysis
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for structural engineering activities
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and local building regulations
