Quality Supervisor

GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily quality assurance activities to ensure products meet internal and customer standards. This role oversees inspection teams, supports compliance with ISO and regulatory standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Will include the following, but other duties may be assigned: 

• Supervises and coordinates the work of Quality Technicians and Inspectors across shifts. 

• Ensures proper execution of inspection, testing, and documentation activities according to specifications and procedures. 

• Conducts root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for quality issues (CAPA). 

• Monitors and reports on key quality metrics (e.g., scrap rate, defect trends, first pass yield). 

• Supports internal and external audits, including ISO, customer, and regulatory inspections. 

• Trains quality staff on inspection methods, quality tools, and safety standards. 

• Collaborates with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns. 

• Maintains quality documentation, including non-conformance reports (NCRs), inspection records, and control plans. 

• Participates in new product introductions (NPI) to ensure quality requirements are met. 

• Lead 5S and continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
