Working Student - Mechanical Designer (m/f/d)

Your Role

As a working student in the Mechanical Design Team, your role would involve actively contributing to both the digital design and the practical realization of components and assemblies. You will blend creative digital design work with practical, hands-on activities, contributing directly to the development of innovative battery storage solutions at Stabl Energy.

Your mission

• 3D-Design of single parts and assemblies using SolidWorks (Sheet metal parts, plastic parts and cable design)
• Generation of 2D drawings, esp. manufacturing drawings and inspection drawings
• Create bills of material (BOMs)
• Preparation of relevant technical documentation as required, e.g. change documentation or assembly documentation
• Development of rapid prototyping solutions (3D printing)
• Use of a Product Data Management (PDM) system for efficient document and data management
• Support in prototype construction
• Team collaboration supporting prototype construction, in both office and workshop settings.

Your profile

• Ongoing master's degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, esp. creating 3D models and 2D drawings
• Experience in generating bills of materials (BOMs) and ideally initial experience with PDM systems
• Strong manual skills and the willingness to actively participate in both the office and prototyping areas
• Very good German and English skills for communication in an international environment and for processing technical documentation
• Independent, structured working style and ability to work in a team.
