The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.
The Quantity Manager will be responsible for overseeing all quantity takeoff and tracking activities across the project. This role ensures accurate measurement and documentation of executed works, supports technical and commercial teams, and contributes to risk management, budgeting, and contract administration. The position plays a key role in aligning design and construction quantities with project objectives.
Job Description
Responsible for the quantity takeoff execution, tracking, and management of the project.
Coordinates with the Cost Control and Project Controls Department on the performance.
Identifies, manages, and assists in the preparation of work plans including the way in which execution and the measure of the element needs to be done.
Tracks all quantity takeoffs for the project through his team.
Provides contractual support from a technical and quantity point of view to project contracts: contracting support, technical interface with specialized subcontractors, technical disputes.
Identifies technical risks and participates in the preparation of risk reports.
Participates in the review of the Project budget forecasts, providing the necessary technical part for its realization.
Support in the execution stage (project assistance team to resolve nonconformities, RFI with designers and unexpected events during construction).
Advises/participate in the formalization of contracts with engineering companies, subcontractors, and suppliers form the quantity point of view and the way of payment.
Guarantees the correct transmission of design and construction information to the entire project team.
Collaborates on the technical claims of the project.
Required Skills and Competencies
Civil Engineering or Quantity Survey degree
10+ years of engineering related experience with a focus on roadworks and bridges.
Experience with MicroStation
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of roadway design programs and 3D modeling to facilitate the interpretation of the takeoffs
Knowledge on control and review data provided by Design and how to be implemented to the Project by the Construction Team
Excellent technical, communication, organizational, management and planning skills.
Excellent people and leadership skills.
Excellent solving problems/analysis.
Comfortable in working to tight deadlines.
