**Main Responsibilities**
 

Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical
 

We are now looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Contract Delivery team in the Wartsila India at TVS Hosur site.
 

What will you be doing:

You will shine in this role, when you have
 

1. Hands-on experience in Operation and Maintenance of Wartsila HFO DG sets 9R32LN, W9L26 engines is an added advantage.

2. Coordinate operational activities during the shift to ensure the plant is operated according to the customer's needs.

3. Plan and coordinate the operation & Maintenance activities at the plant and /or assigned team during the shift.

4. Required good communication skills

5. In depth knowledge in Synchronizing of DG sets with Grid and Engines.

6. Responsible for all activities related to shift Operation and Maintenance of HFO based DG's.

7. To carry out the maintenance of all auxiliary equipment's

8. To carry out the routine and schedule maintenance and troubleshooting of Alfa Laval separators like SU300, SU860, FOPX and LOPX models

9. To carry out the routine and schedule maintenance of Air compressors (Single and Multistage)
10. To carry out the schedule maintenance of Various pumps (Centrifugal, Reciprocating etc.,)

11. To carry out the routine and schedule maintenance of PHE

12. To Implement plant Operation/Maintenance schedules and procedures

13. To Start / Stop the DG's efficiently and effectively

14. To implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety and environment.

15. Maintaining Spares Inventory with respect to Budget, Scope of work & breakdown emergency requirements.

16. Ensure the compliance and implementation of the terms and conditions of O&M contract agreement.

17. Preparation & follow up of Standard operating procedures (SOP), work order formats and HIRAC. Etc.,

18. Conduct technical and safety training for subordinates, implementing, and adopting safety procedures.

**Education & Experience requirements**

• Diploma or BE Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 6 years of HFO/Gas based power plant experience is must.

• Experience in operating engine and its auxiliaries
