The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $103,939.20 - $129,924

Job Summary

This position is responsible for integration of all Transmission, Substation, and Distribution Capital, New Customer, Maintenance and Reliability Projects under the responsibility of Electric Operations IUSA. This position has oversight of the overall accuracy and integrity of the master plan and schedule, as well as adherence to scheduling standards. This position is also responsible for the overall analysis of work and resource assessment across all Service Centers within the assigned Zone. This position provides guidance with regards to forecasted labor strategy to drive project completion. Guidance includes identification of over allocation of resource type by zone and areas. Identify opportunities for resources sharing and leveraging of existing labor agreements, and identification of external resources where required. In addition this position develops, maintains and issues standard reports (scorecards) that promote integrated decisions around project completion and increased resource utilization across all work types. The position will also take a lead role in the organization to drive scheduling of internal and external resources for construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the supervision of Data Technicians and Analysts as well as review, monitor, and coordinate all resources and their workload. This includes responsibility for technical support of pre- requisites of all electric distribution work orders; permits, purchase requisitions and orders, customer payments. Ensures work is completed in accordance with internal and industry standards following approved policies, procedures, safety rules, and budgets in a manner that promotes customer satisfaction. Oversees the work scheduling process, including preparation, and prioritization of work plan and schedule, resource and material requirements, work load forecasts, and coordination with other processes for optimal resource utilization. Resolves customer complaints. (50%) Knowledge of company construction standards, rates, field operating procedures, safety instructions, union contract, and accounting manuals. Able to read and interpret electric construction sketches. Familiar with contractor bid and purchase requisition process. Develops, coordinates, manage and maintains an integrated construction schedule for Substation, Transmission and Distribution Projects in the Electric Field Operations, including reports (scorecard’s) to measure organizational performance. This includes tracking hours charged and durations for continuous improvement of work plan estimates (10%) Leads the standardization and integration of all Data Technicians and Analysts used in the Integrated Planning & Scheduling function. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of data through weekly meetings. Identifies, develops and implements work process and best practices for Integrated Planning & Scheduling. (10%) Provides direct supervision and coaching to the Areas of Scheduling and Clerical for Substations, Transmission and Distribution. Fosters an environment of teamwork, creativity and problem solving. Manages performance by reviewing and evaluating work of employees. Build a consensus and communicates performance measures and expected performance levels. Assesses and improves team and employee performance through coaching and on-the-training. (20%) Assist operations with Storm restoration efforts. (10%)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years or education/experience equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management/administration

  • Associates degree in business management/administration related

  • technology with min 5 years’ experience.

  • High school diploma with minimum of 10 years field planning or analyst/clerk experience
