As Control & Protection Engineer at Power Transformers you will be part of a team that is responsible for the electrical design of control cabinets for reactors and transformers. You will have the opportunity to work in a global company, with a variation of different projects and be a part of a great team that aims to find the best possible solutions for our customers. 

 
If you are passionate about technology and eager to contribute to the future of energy, as a part of the monitoring team you will optimize control and protection for the customer interface and contribute to driving the digitalization of transformers and reactors.  
Your role will involve leveraging advanced technologies and traditional control systems to innovative solutions to enhance the infrastructure of these critical components. By integrating state-of-the-art monitoring systems, you will ensure that transformers and reactors operate at peak efficiency. 
 

How you’ll make an impact 
 

  • Design of control and protection for transformers and reactors to meet requirements in customer system 

  • Perform electrical and signal dimensioning of the protection systems 

  • Communicate and interact with internal supply chain management and electronics manufacturers regarding component related questions 

  • Support our sales department during the marketing phase, over tenders and order projects 

  • Interface with electronics component manufacturers to get technical information regarding electronic components etc. 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets. 

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for monitoring and data analysis.  

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills and a proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. 

  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management and operations, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of monitoring systems. 
     

 

Your background 

  • As a person you have great teamwork capabilities, and you look at challenges as an opportunity and take on new tasks with a positive spirit 

  • You perform the work in an analytical and structured manner and take responsibility for your tasks 

  • You have technical background, work experience from a similar area including electrical automation and/or general authorization within installations or Engineering degree int electrical design 

  • You have the ability to read and interpret circuit schematics and customer specifications 

  • Fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English is meritorious 

  •  E3 software experience is meritorious
