Associate Director (Building Services Team Lead)

Our diverse Melbourne-based Building Services Team are currently looking for an experienced Team Lead to manage a group of Principal Level engineers. Your role will be split across people management and project delivery, including assisting with the design and delivery of projects across; Healthcare, Education, Aviation, Civil Infrastructure, Defence, Commercial and Community/Leisure projects across the State.

How you’ll make a difference:

• Lead and manage a team of experienced, multidisciplinary building services engineers. Support their technical development and professional growth by providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management while setting clear goals for success.
• Collaborate with other Team Leads within the group to drive multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring effective strategic planning, resource allocation, and utilization.
• Utilise your expertise in Building Services to provide technical insights for project proposals and bids, lead major projects, and foster strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.
• Apply your commercial acumen and analytical skills to interpret complex financial systems and reports, contributing to both the broader operational business and specific project success.
• Drive innovation and best practices within the Building Services discipline, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable engineering solutions.
